Destination Dallas Texas
Message from CEO Michael Johansson
Destination will open its doors on the 18th again after the shutdown of all gyms and we welcome all of our members back. Before you plan to head this way, my team and I want to say a few things as we enter a new world with a virus like the Covid-19 next to us in all aspects of life. All sports have an inherent risk associated with them and now the virus has to be added to that list as well.
We love all of our members, but we don’t want you to come to the gym if you don’t feel fully comfortable doing so due to the Covid-19 pandemic (it’s always an option to freeze or cancel your membership).
As some of you know I’m an immigrant from Sweden that arrived 8 years ago with my family and two fitness clothing brands; GASP and Better Bodies to build on the American dream with the Destination gym project as our base. The goal with Destination was to gather people that have the same passion and purpose in mind and create our own gym version of The American dream with the “Land of the free and home of the brave” vision in mind where everyone can work on their own passion and purpose, free of judgment from others.
This should be your home away from home that you respect like it is your own. With house rules that are made by its members who take responsibility for their own actions with some mutual core values as guiding stars to keep the destination family together. We are not entitled or victims of others’ actions and we rack both our own and others’ weights when necessary. We help each other to clean up and keep hygiene on point…and we do it with a smile. With this vision in mind, we want you to help us keep a relentless and no comprise attitude towards our hygiene rules to keep our destination staff and fellow members as safe as possible.
It’s with great excitement that I, together with staff and trainers, welcome you back as we been missing you (our gym family) like crazy.
Michael Johansson CEO
